Thank God it's Friday.
Embracing Friday within the weekly rhythm.
A whisper of relief, a moment's grace.
Neither joy nor sorrow, in its sway,
Yet gratitude blooms in a unique array,
Thank God it's Friday.
Monday's stern gaze, or Friday's cheer,
God's thanks echo, every day, every year.
A dance of toil, a ballet of rest,
Life's elaborate fabric intertwines, forming a complex journey.
But thank God it's Friday
For some, the weekend, a sweet reprieve,
Five days of labour, now we believe.
Yet work and rest, a delicate ballet,
In this harmonious composition, we forge our own journey.
Thank God it's Friday
All days bear gifts, be it sun or rain,
In gratitude's chorus, our hearts remain.
Friday's chorus, a special refrain,
For the weekend's rest, we thank again,
Thank God it's Friday.
